Inez Martin Food Program Matching Campaign

The Inez Martin Child Development Center is the Preschool program provided by Wesley House Family Services. It serves children ages 2 – 5 engaging them in socialization and early education to set them up for success in their elementary school years. Inez Martin is one of the few preschools in Key West that provide daily meals consisting of breakfast, a hot lunch, and afternoon snack at no cost to the families.

In 2023 two childcare centers closed in Key West. Inez Martin welcomed staff and students from these facilities while preventing a bigger crisis from occurring within the working community of Key West. Because their enrollment nearly doubled within a few weeks, their food costs drastically increased.

Through the generosity of the Marion Stevens Fund and The Metropolitan Community Church your donation will be doubled now through September. Please consider donating any amount to help Inez Martin reach their $9,000 by September 30th! To put the food costs in perspective, $400 provides lunch for one day for 100 students. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
