At Helping Hands of Florida Keys, our mission is to support hardworking families in our community during times of financial strain. Having lived, worked, and raised our own families right here in Key West, we understand firsthand the unique challenges that come with living in paradise.
We know that many working parents face difficult choices — sometimes having to sacrifice their children’s opportunities to ensure that basic needs like food and housing are met. A key part of our mission is to make sure every child has access to the same opportunities as their peers — whether it’s attending summer camp, daycare during school breaks, or after school programs. No child should ever feel left out simply because their family can’t afford these experiences.
As parents ourselves, we recognize how important it is to invest in our children’s future — from early education through high school (K–12). By easing immediate financial pressures, we aim to give families the stability they need to focus on what matters most: nurturing, guiding, and providing opportunities for their children to thrive.
At Helping Hands of Florida Keys, we believe that when families are supported, our entire community grows stronger.
