Foundation Society Giving Levels:

  • $1,000 – $2,499 Bronze
  • $2,500 – $4,999 Silver
  • $5,000 – $9,999 Gold VIP
  • $10,000 and above Platinum VIP
Friends of the Foundation

Donors will become Friends of the Foundation with gifts under $1,000.

Memorials and Honorariums

Donors can make a gift to the Community Foundation in honor or in memory of a family member or loved one. (Note: Please indicate who this gift is in honor or in memory of in the “Additional Information”.

Legacy Society

Florida Keys Future Fund

The Florida Keys Future Fund supports grants to local nonprofits throughout the Keys in all areas, including the arts, environment, healthcare, recreation and more. This grant making fund is truly the power of collective giving in action.

Ron Burd Appointed Board Chair; New Officers Elected for 2018-19

Ron Burd

We’re pleased to announce that Ron Burd has been appointed Chair of our Board of Governors for 2018-19. Ron is a retired executive vice president of Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals and his entire career was devoted to the leadership of nonprofit organizations.

“I’m honored to serve as Chair of the board and play a leadership role in the Community Foundation’s important efforts,” says Ron. “Working together with our generous donors and vital nonprofit partners, we’re creating a community-wide charitable network that is building a better future for our wonderful Keys.”

Chair Ron Burd’s distinguished career also included serving for 20 years as President and CEO of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, the country’s largest nonprofit provider of behavioral health services to children and adults. He is the founding Chair of the Child Mental Health Division of Child Welfare League of America. He currently serves on the Keys Advisory Board of Mote Marine Laboratory in Summerland Key. Ron is also a licensed Coast Guard Captain and avid swimming and sailing enthusiast. He joined the CFFK Board in 2015.

In addition to Ron, the Community Foundation’s newly elected Executive Committee is:
