Long-time Key West resident Phil Miani has made a generous commitment to an ongoing donation of $500/month to provide operating support for the Bahama Village Music Program (BVMP).

A retired Community Foundation of the Florida Keys board member, Miani named “The Miani Sassy Cat Fund” at the Community Foundation in honor of his black cat Sassy who recently passed away.

The Bahama Village Music Program provides free music education to youth who would not otherwise have access to private music instruction. Said Kawana Staffney, BVMP Executive Director, “We at the Bahama Village Music Program are eternally grateful to The Miani Sassy Cat Fund for their generous recurring donation to our program. This much needed funding will help us continue to make a joyful noise into the future.”
