Mayor and City Commission Celebrate CFFK’s 20th Anniversary with Proclamation

KW Mayor Craig Cates and City Commissioners recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Community Foundation with a Proclamation. In making the presentation, Mayor Cates said, “By this proclamation we hereby join in celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys, supporting the generous giving spirit of our community and believing that through collective giving and working together we can indeed build a better future.”

Proclamation

CFFK board members attending the presentation included Michael Ingram, Ann Reynolds, Doug Mayberry, President/CEO Dianna Sutton, Bill Porter, Chairman Roger Heinen, and Rosi Ware, with Mayor Cates.

Here’s the complete text of the Proclamation:

WHEREAS, the Community Foundation has awarded more than $21 million in grants and program services through the generosity of its philanthropic partners, positively affecting thousands of people in need in all areas of our community, including health and human services, education, environment, arts and culture, and much more; and
