Jean Olson Music Scholarship Established

A recent memorial event for long-time Key West resident Jean Olson launched a new scholarship established in Jean’s name that will be awarded to a graduating KWHS student studying music. The Jean Olson Music Scholarship will be administered through the Emily Boyd Lowe Music Fund whose fund advisors will select the recipients. Jean, a singer herself, supported many performing arts organizations in Key West. The fund was established by Jean’s son and daughter: Jimmy Olson and Julie Patterson. Donations may be made to CFFK, along with a notation in memory of Jean Olson.
