We foster and leverage collaborations with like-minded partners in both the public and private sectors of Key West, strengthening coalitions and serving as consensus builder. A diverse community is a democratic one, and democracy requires vision on the part of its leaders. We can take risks where only philanthropy can, explore solutions that government cannot, and cast a wide net of consensus among various groups. Through funding and organizational support, we also help to build capacity within new entities that have a similar vision.
