Applications Now Available for 2015 Leadership Success Academy

CFFK is now accepting applications for the 2015 Leadership Success Academy (LSA) board training program. This year’s program includes a new partnership and a new location. The Florida Keys Community College is partnering with CFFK to provide the program, which provides best practices in leadership development and governance skills.

Dates for the 2015 LSA:

ThursdayFebruary 26  1 to 6 p.m.

Thursday, March 12       1 to 6 p.m.

Thursday, April 2            1 to 6 p.m.

Thursday, April 16          1 to 6 p.m., followed by graduation

All sessions will be held at the Tennessee Williams Theatre at FKCC. Debbie Mason of Strategists, Inc. is the facilitator and program consultant. Applications for the 2015 program are available here.

The cost of the program is $100 per organization (for one to four participants). The program is open to 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofits, membership or service/civic organizations, and government groups and coalitions. Nonprofit executive directors/CEOs may also participate in all training sessions providing at least one board member participates for the entire program.

To date, over 350 nonprofit leaders in Monroe County have completed the board training program to further develop their skills. Nearly one-fourth of all Monroe County charitable nonprofits have participated in the program.
